Hivency is an influencer marketing platform that connects brands with influencers across all countries and social networks.
1 – Humanity.
Corporate culture, values, and the individuals we hire are crucial elements of success. It's imperative that all our employees have a consistent work approach and share the same ambition. Humans can't be replicated, unlike a strategy.
2 – Diverse Profiles.
However, having a mix of varied profiles is essential. Just like pieces of a puzzle, everyone needs to fit into the company based on their skills and their compatibility with others. Differences are a strength, as long as they come together to form a cohesive and complementary whole.
3 – Partnership Relations.
Many startups crumble along the way because the founders no longer get along, often due to a poor distribution of roles or misaligned objectives. A business partnership is like a marriage; there needs to be transparency and ongoing communication, whether about good news or bad.
4 – Staying Stimulated.
Goals change alongside a startup's growth. Operations vary when you have a team of 2, 15, or 70, and the roles of founders, management, and all employees are bound to evolve. It's essential to demonstrate both flexibility and proactivity to avoid falling into monotony.
5 – Surroundings.
It's vital to have employees who bring life to the project and ensure its continuity. Investors who support the growth, or family and friends who back the founders in challenging times, are just as crucial.

If I were to offer any advice, from my own experience as Dorian: Surround yourself with the right people, always stay adaptable, and remember that the human element is at the heart of any successful venture. Everyone plays a role in a startup's journey, so value and nurture those relationships.
